
The Early Warning System based on an Ambient Air Quality Monitoring System (AAQMS) is designed to provide continuous, real-time monitoring of atmospheric pollutants to protect public health and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. The system consists of strategically installed monitoring stations equipped with advanced analyzers for key pollutants such as particulate matter (PM₁₀ and PM₂.₅), sulfur dioxide (SO₂), nitrogen oxides (NOₓ), carbon monoxide (CO), ozone (O₃), and other site-specific parameters.
Each AAQMS station continuously measures pollutant concentrations along with meteorological parameters including wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure. Data are transmitted in real time to a centralized data acquisition and management system for validation, analysis, trend evaluation, reporting, and regulatory submission. Predefined alarm thresholds enable automatic alerts when pollutant levels exceed permissible limits, allowing timely intervention and mitigation measures.
